Nicole Inglish

Nicole InglisDSC_0092h has dedicated herself to living yoga.  It is her passion. She has spent over 10,000 hours sharing her teachings all over the globe. Studying and learning are Nicole’s passion. She is always curious and exploring and bringing it to her clients with a deeper understanding and ease for this being human.

Founder of Source Yoga in 2005 in Santa Barbara Ca, teacher in the 8 limbs of Yoga and trainer RYT 500, E-RYT 200, Personal Coach and Bodyworker, Nicole loves to share the freedom and ease that a daily practice brings. Her 20+ year expertise is an eclectic style that highlights intuitive movement,somatic awareness and the traditions of hatha yoga. She brings a safe, spirited, naturally therapeutic atmosphere, emphasizing the use of breath, exquisite attention, long slow stretches, self-massage and bio-dynamic alignment. Nicole is best known for supporting you in listening to your own inner cues as your ultimate authority in well-being. She has a home studio where you can come see her or she can travel to you. You will play, investigate, allow space, challenge edges, and learn to listen; caring for and creating the unfolding of your body’s specific needs and life’s specific desires in any or all services you choose to be supported in.

She offers private personally designed for you one on one sessions, as well as group classes, workshops and teacher trainings. Nicole is a certified Yoga Therapist, Thai Yoga Bodyworker, a spiritual advisor, a Master Reiki Practitioner, and Astrologer. Nicole also trains students of yoga to become teachers, and you can hire her for your own personal training or  hire her to be an adjunct teacher at your school’s 200 or 500 hour training.

Nicole began her yoga practice in 1996 and trained primarily in Ashtanga Yoga as delineated by Sri K Pattahbi Jois for 15 years, along side she studied Hatha Yoga with Erich Shiffman. She has had the great honor of being with Sri K Pattahbi Jois on his US tours twice in 2001 and 2002. She thanks all of her primary teachers; Sri K Pattahbi Jois, Erich Schiffman, Saul David Raye, Kristen Laak, Master Pischet Boonthumm, Jennifer Freed, Marshall Rosenberg, Pema Chodron, Adyshanti, and Swami Vidyadishananda for the wisdom and expert guidance. She credits her parents, Jeff and Carole, for gifting her integrity, dedication and unconditional love. Nicole considers every moment a teacher in the choice of presence and loves all the various relationships she has shared in her life as a source of these teachings. NicDSC_0158ole is devoted to living an authentic life of love and truth and wishes love, awakening and freedom for all beings.

In 1997, She received a B.A. in Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and draws much inspiration from reading and writing. After successfully running Source as a public studio for 10 years, from 2005-2015, she moved her public classes to Divinitree, at 25 E De La Guerra, in the beautiful historic area of the El Presidio. Along side the organic living that a daily practice brings, she loves dancing on the beach, body surfing, rock climbing, writing, singing and cooking using the freshest ingredients from the local farmer’s market.
